According to the UN Refugee Agency, there are 35.3M refugees in the world. 2022 was the largest yearly increase in recorded history of those who got refugee status.

Many of these roles are entry level but high-paying with upward mobility, needing people with enough technical expertise to automate tasks, do data hygiene, etc. These roles are perfect for refugees looking for a dignified career.

Unfortunately, this problem is only going to get worse due to global conflicts. While refugees are educated, motivated, and loyal, many end up in manual labor out of desperation; jobs that are unable to sustain their families.

Education and work are interrupted when one is forced to flee as well as the absence of social and professional networks, making it difficult to compete successfully in the job market. As a result, refugees face high levels of unemployment and economic insecurity, which inhibits their ability to support themselves and contribute to their new communities”
